I don’t know what it is, but I love the combination of a warm apple pie and vanilla ice cream!
Dutch Apple Pie
Ingredients
1 ready-made pie crust
5 cups peeled cored sliced Gala apples
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Crumble
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup butter, room temperature
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- In large bowl mix sliced apples, lemon juice, sugar, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon
- Pour into ready-made crust
- In separate bowl blend flour, sugar, brown sugar and butter with a fork until coarsely crumbled
- Sprinkle over apple mixture
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until golden brown.
